It takes something special to be fired from a job before you even start but one American girl has managed to do just that.

The girl, who hasn't revealed her real name, was about to start work at Jet's Pizza in Mansfield, Texas last Friday when she tweeted, "Ew, I start this f--- a-- job tomorrow" with a line of thumbs down emojis, The Independent reports.

A worker told store manager Robert Waple, who fired her over Twitter the next day – only the second time he'd tweeted since signing up in 2009.

"No, you don't start that FA job today! I just fired you! Good luck with your no money, no job life!", Mr Waple posted.

"Working register (the till), taking phone orders, making subs/salads. Eating free pizza. How hard would that have been?" he later tweeted.

After the exchange went viral some former workers at Jet's came out of the woodwork to attack Mr Waple.

“Just thought you should know I was stoned out of my mind every time I went into work, and your pizza sucks,” one wrote.

"Being high would only partly explain how you could deliver a pizza to the wrong house...multiple times," Mr Waple replied.

Cella did not seem upset to lose her job, sending Mr Waple a cartoon of herself playing with stacks of cash.

"Made my point today. I'll check in again in 6 years," he replied, before deleting his account.
