Russian motorists attack taxi driver who cuts off an ambulance

Commuters appalled by the actions of a Russian taxi driver who cut off an ambulance have given cabbie a dose of his own medicine, rushing to the aid of the paramedics.

Dashcam footage captures the moment an ambulance with its lights flashing attempts to merge left.

After trying and failing to block the emergency vehicle, a taxi driver stops his car in front of the ambulance, gets out and allegedly assaults one of the paramedics.

Outraged onlookers quickly come to the paramedic’s defence, surrounding the cabbie and shoving him back into his car.

Right This Minute reported the taxi driver had a mother and child in the back seat at the time of the incident; he was fired after the video circulated on social media.
