Snoop Dogg documents arrest in Sweden on video

Rapper Snoop Dogg has released a series of videos on Instagram slamming Swedish police after he was reportedly arrested and forced to take a urine test under suspicion of using illegal substances.

The musician was in Uppsala to perform a concert, after which he was approached by police and arrested.

He documented the arrest in a series of videos in which, angrily telling his followers: “We getting sweated by the police right now, cuz”.

“I don’t know what country we in but they sweating us right now for nothing.”

He later posted another video telling the camera he was in the back of a police car saying “taking us to the station, where I gotta go pee in the cup, for nothing!”

Snoop alleged he was the victim of racial profiling by police in another post.

“Profile, racial profile, came and snatched me out of my car,” he said.

He then apologises to Swedish fans, telling them that he won’t be returning to the country.

In a final post, Snoop lets fans know that he was released without incident.

“They took me down there, made me pee in the cup, didn’t find s---, no case, no nothing,” he posted.

TMZ reported that a police spokesperson had responded to Snoop’s claims of racial profiling saying “We don’t work like that in Sweden”.

The same spokesperson said Snoop showed signs of driving under the influence and that test results should be available in two weeks.
