A Canadian woman has opened up about her years spent as a sex slave after her family forced her to appear in child porn videos before selling her to the highest bidder.

Jessa Dillow Crisp, 29, was just 10-years-old when members of her family began sexually abusing her.

In a candid video the young woman explains how she was forced to pose for humiliating photos and videos and perform various sex acts.

Her years of abuse as the hands of people who were meant to protect her eventually escalated to sex trafficking where she was sent overseas for the express purpose of being sold to pimps and wealthy buyers.

"Not only did I see someone very close to me murdered, but police officers were some of my buyers and multiple times I was handcuffed, raped, and told that if I told anyone I would be put in jail," she told Global Citizen.

"The horror can’t be put into words, neither can the brothels I was taken to or the men and women I was forced to service."

It wasn't until she was approached by a woman who offered to help her escape her life of servitude that Dillow eventually broke away from her family and escaped Canada in 2010.

Since then the brave survivor has gotten married, completed a degree in Clinical Counselling and is currently working on her Masters.
