A service dog has captured the world’s attention after she walked her owner down the aisle – keeping her calm on the big day.
Photographer Maddie Peschong captured the interaction between the faithful dog Bella, who was dressed in a tutu, and her owner Valerie Parrot in the moments before the service.
Bella is shown letting Valerie know that her heart rate is elevated, and then plays with her human companion to calm her down.
The canine also helps Valerie cope with her anxiety, panic attacks and migranes.
Maddie Peschong told Mashable that the couple were also joined by Bella at the altar.
Valerie and her husband Andrew were married on January 9 in a South Dakota Church.
Bella also invited a few canine guests of her own - with her furry housemate Henry joining the newlyweds for a family portrait.
