Seal plays game of footsies with kayakers

A group of English kayakers have filmed a seal playfully nuzzling at their feet in a “once in a lifetime” experience.

Lucy Godley was kayaking on the Dorset Coast with friends last week when they came across the seal, the Daily Echo website reports.

"We saw this lady in the water with what we thought was her dog," Ms Godley said.

"The next minute he disappeared and popped up by our kayaks.

"He was watching us for a while and we kept very still. He then decided to try and jump up on our kayaks.”

"After a while we got into the sea one by one, he was very fascinated with us and he would pop up and nibble our feet."

The seal is known to locals as “Ron” and has become a celebrity in the area because of his extraordinarily playful nature.

In March, another kayaker Andrew Linstead filmed Ron making several attempts to hoist himself onto his kayak.
