A Russian Instagram star has taken her pet slow loris to new heights by teaching it how to pole dance.

Irina Goncharova’s video shows the pet slowly rotating around a metal pole, with a leopard print background, and seemingly wearing a nappy.

The animal swivels multiple times, focusing its huge eyes on the task at hand.

In another clip, the creature climbs down the pole after spreading its limbs wide across the surface area.

The Russian woman often posts photos of her pet to her social media accounts, with her latest slow loris picture from March 22 published with the title, “Tadpole”.

However some users on social media have labelled the act “cruel” and pointed to the animal’s endangered status.
