Robotic vacuum cleaner sucks up woman's hair

A South Korean woman has woken up to the terrifying sight of her robotic vacuum cleaner sucking up her hair.

The 52-year-old woman was taking a nap on the floor of her home in the city of Changwon last month when it suddenly locked on to her hair, mistaking it for dust, the Kyunghyang Shinmun newspaper reports.

Unable to free herself from the painful situation, the woman was forced to call the local fire department with a “desperate rescue plea”.

Paramedics arrived and managed to separate the woman from the vacuum cleaner.

The woman suffered only minor injuries.
