Reporter oblivious as crash unfolds on live TV

TV viewers in the UK have witnessed a nasty crash when a pedestrian was knocked down by a scooter during a live cross.

ITV reporter Ria Chatterjee was talking about delays facing London commuters at St Pancreas station overnight when her roadside report took an unscripted turn.

In the background, a man carrying a suitcase can be seen crossing the road and being hit by a scooter.

Shocked bystanders can be seen rushing to help the man as Chatterjee continues with her report, oblivious to the commotion behind her.

Chatterjee took to Twitter minutes after the crash to reassure viewers.

'The pedestrian and motorcyclist who collided during my live broadcast at St Pancras Stn are both fine,” she tweeted.
