Reporter dives for cover as ISIS-fired missile destroys building nearby

A reporter is lucky to be alive after a missile whistled overhead and exploded behind him while he was broadcasting live from a Turkish town near the Syrian border.

TRT World correspondent Francis Collings was shooting a piece to camera in Kilis province on Tuesday as a large explosion can be heard, and those around him start ducking and running for cover.

A thick cloud of grey smoke is then seen billowing from a several-story building.

Up to eight missiles were believed to have been fired from the ISIS-controlled city of Azaz, four kilometres across the border in Syria.

Two people, including a child, died in the attack.

The Turkish military have reportedly returned fire with cross-border shelling into Syria, according to Daily Sabah.

Kilis Mayor Hasan Kaya is urging residents not to panic and to avoid crowded areas.
