Want to own an island? This private eco-friendly paradise is going for $12.2 million

A private eco-friendly island near to Miami in the United States has been put up for sale for $12.2 million (US$8.5 million).
The island known as East Sister Rock off the coast of Marathon, a two-hour trip from Miami, is on the market and includes 5000-square-feet of land, surrounded by a coral reef.
The island was first on the market in 2011 for A$17 million but has now been re-listed for a reduced price.

There is also an option to rent the island for A$1423 a night.
The house on the island was built in 1980 and includes three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a helipad so you can travel via helicopter. All appliances on the island are powered by wind and solar energy.
