Popular Mister Ed actor Alan Young dies aged 96

Emmy award-winning actor Alan Young has died, aged 96.
Young was best known for his role in the popular 1960s sitcom “Mister Ed”, where he played the hapless and somewhat klutzy owner of Mister Ed, Wilbur Post.

He also won several Emmy Awards for “The Alan Young Show”, which he hosted before “Mister Ed”.
Young also made a number of films and television shows throughout his career, and provided the voice of Disney’s Scrooge McDuck.
Young was married three times and had four children, and died from natural causes in a Los Angeles retirement home for those in the movie and TV industry.
