Police bodycam captures incredible rescue of choking newborn

A US policeman’s bodycam has filmed his heroic revival of a choking baby girl.

Officer William Eng can be seen racing up a flight of stairs in Savannah, Georgia, after receiving a 911 call on Tuesday (local time).

The officer finds the unresponsive child and her distressed family, and begins CPR.

Moments later, the 29-day-old named Bella can be seen moving and crying as she begins to breathe again.

Bella’s mother, Tina Adkins, and Officer Eng have since been reunited, with the grateful mother praising the officer’s life-saving actions.

“He jumped right in and did what he had to do in order to save my baby, and I thank god for that,” Ms Adkins told NBC 5.

Bella’s grandmother added that the officer was an “angel from heaven.”
