Plane passenger shames man who abused her on flight

Covering his face with his hand and hanging his head a man pleads meekly as the woman he molested on an aeroplane films his humiliation.

The middle-aged man was travelling on an IndiGo flight from Mumbai to Bhubaneswar on January 31 when he allegedly sexually assaulted a young woman seated next to him, NDTV reports.

What the victim did next shocked the perpetrator and other passengers on the plane.

The woman pulled out her mobile phone and filmed as she castigated her alleged abuser, later sharing the video on social media in an effort to shame the man.

"You're asking for forgiveness. Why? Because I'm a girl? And you have right to touch me anytime, anywhere you want to," she says as other passengers watch.

"I'm asking for forgiveness," the man says.

"What forgiveness are you asking for?", the woman snaps back.

"Did you do it only once? Was it by mistake? Look how old you are. Old moron. Half into your grave and still not wise enough. Say more? Say more, come on. I'm videotaping you, mister! If you ever do this again you'll remember this episode.

"You think us girls stay silent and you can do anything, right? Look here, Why are you so bashful now? I will call security. I'll make sure I make a complaint."

After the aircraft lands the woman continues to film the man who admits he made a "mistake" and apologises.

"Everybody makes mistakes… This is a big mistake," the man says.

After being reported to police the man was taken into custody, according to the victim's online comments.
