British Airways flight bursts into flames at Las Vegas airport, two injured

A British Airways plane has burst into flames on the runway at McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas.

All 159 passengers and 13 crew have been removed from the plane. Two people are understood to have suffered minor injuries.

Huge plumes of black smoke could be seen billowing from the plane before the fire was extinguished.

The Boeing 777 was about to take off, bound for London's Gatwick Airport.

One runway is out of service as a result, however operations continue on the airport's three other runways.
