A pizza delivery man in the US made about a tenth of his year’s wage in one hit when he was given a massive tip at a real estate conference.

Having dropped off the single pizza, to the room full of agents in Ann Arbour, Michigan, ‘Rob’ is turning to leave when he is called back.

“Rob,” says one of the agents.

“I’ve got something for you over here. Really appreciate you coming. We wanted to do something special for you today, if you’d allow us to,” he says, before bestowing unto Rob a grab-bag gifts, including six winning lottery tickets valued at six dollars each, a $25 Visa gift certificate, and, ultimately, $2084 in cash.

Rob seems stunned and doesn’t say or do much before beating a hasty retreat.

The real estate agents claimed that they wanted to ‘honour someone from the service industry.’

At a conservative estimate, a real estate agent in Michigan earns, on average, a minimum four times the wage of a pizza delivery driver.
