This is the moment a sneaky parking officer was caught moving a traffic cone so he could slap a driver with a $130 ticket.

Concerned he had been getting tickets unfairly, UK driver Harvey Saunders had a dashcam installed and on Wednesday it paid off, the Metro newspaper reports.

The video shows the officer in Hull, Yorkshire picking up a cone and bringing the cone closer to his car and then writing out a ticket.

‘I actually caught up with him (traffic warden) a little later, purely by accident, he was still in the area,’ Mr Saunders said.

‘I asked him about what he had done and he said, and I quote “well you shouldn’t have parked there should you”.

‘I told him I had recorded him moving the cone, and I was recording him now. That’s when he went mad.’

Mr Saunders posted the video on social media and Hull City Council has since cancelled the ticket and launched an investigation into the matter.
