Angry otter pursues Scottish man

A Scottish forestry manager has filmed himself being chased back to his car by an angry otter trying to bite his shoes.

Remarkable video taken by Rory MacPherson showed how he was pursued by the carnivorous mammal along a road in the county of Dumfries and Galloway on Monday.

Mr MacPherson was out for a walk when he came across the wild otter on the tarmac, reports The Daily Telegraph.

Footage showed how the furry creature started to try and nibble at his walking boots.

Mr MacPherson says: "He's biting my feet," before shouting "what" as he realises the otter won't leave him alone.

He attempts to move away, commenting: "B-----y hell. What are you doing pal?"

Amazingly, Mr MacPherson starts to run and says: "I'm getting chased by an otter."

He finally reaches the refuge of his car.

Mr MacPherson told the BBC that the otter had "huge" teeth and it was definitely biting his feet, but luckily they were covered by his tough boots.
