Obama loosens up post-presidency while holidaying with Richard Branson

Barack Obama has ditched his suit and tie for a backwards cap while taking a well-deserved holiday with Sir Richard Branson and his family.

The 55-year-old never looked more relaxed since taking the Oval Office eight years ago after being snapped walking around the island of Anegada in the British Virgin Islands in shorts and a T-shirt.

He even bumped things up a notch by spinning his baseball cap backwards while chatting to the billionaire Virgin founder.

Michele Obama had her hair in braid as paparazzi snapped the group soaking up the sun and enjoying some well-deserved downtime.

The former president will move into a spacious nine-bedroom home in Washington DC while their daughter Sasha finishes school.

He made his first statement since leaving the White House earlier this week, lambasting President Trump's immigration ban.

"Citizens exercising their Constitutional right to assemble, organize and have their voices heard by their elected officials is exactly what we expect to see when American values are at stake," the former president said in a statement.

Obama added that he "disagrees with the notion of discriminating against individuals because of their faith".
