N. Korea's leader blasts weather forecasters

North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un has taken aim at the isolated nation's weather forecasters for their "many incorrect forecasts".
The 'dear leader' was visiting the national hydro-meteorological service in a televised field guidance visit when he launched his surprising public rebuke.
Workers were scolded and told to "fundamentally improve their work" because good forecasts were needed to "protect the lives and properties of the people from disasters caused by abnormal climatic phenomenon," state newspaper Rodong Sinmun reports.
Criticism of staff during guidance visits is extremely rare – with the last lambasting occurring in 2012, when Kim was disappointed by a trip to a Pyongyang theme park.
