No-nonsense cat returns to supermarket shelf to overlook shoppers

A cat known for his rebellious streak has returned to the shelf of a supermarket to watch over shoppers, several months after he went viral when he was first spotted in London.

The cat has appeared at the same Sainsbury store with the same no-nonsense expression staring passively at shoppers passing by.

The cat reportedly belongs to the people living next door to the store and is not cooperative when staff members try to remove him.

“Security tried to remove him. He sauntered straight back in,” a Twitter user wrote along with a photo of the cat’s first appearance in November last year.
