Motorcyclist helps old, blind man cross street

A tough, leather-clad motorcyclist in Russia has been credited with helping to restore faith in humanity, after stopping in the middle of a busy road to help an elderly blind man cross the street.

Helmet-cam vision follows the rider as he tears down the road.

Ahead of him, standing, hopelessly trapped in the middle of the road is the blind, elderly man.

Cars continue to whizz past him until eventually the motorcyclist parks his bike in front of her and begins to usher him across the road.

Traffic immediately comes to a standstill, allowing the frail man to make it to the other side safely.
