Monkey revives electrocuted companion at train station in India

The monkey swooped to help his primate pal, who had been knocked unconscious after walking on electrified high-tension wires at a train station in Indian's northern city of Kanpur on Saturday.
Stunned commuters watched as the monkey spent 20 minutes trying to revive the other monkey — biting and hitting it and then dragging it to a nearby puddle to dunk it in water.
Footage uploaded to YouTube shows the comatose monkey eventually waking up, bewildered but alive.

The pair was eventually spotted scurrying away from the station.
Monkeys are often regarded as a nuisance in India but conservationists say deforestation forces monkeys to enter towns in search of food and shelter.
