Mexico’s 'Volcano of Fire' erupts again

Mexico’s renowned Colima volcano has erupted a second time, just months after another eruption forced the evacuation of more than 350 people.

The most recent eruptions sent plumes of ash and smoke billowing 2500m into the air, the BBC reports.

In October, another eruption forced residents of more than 300 home in La Yerbabeuna and La Becerrera to evacuate.

The Colima volcano, also known as the ‘Volcano of Fire’, is one of the most active volcanoes in central America.
