Mexican police woman posed topless in patrol car

A police officer in Mexico has put her job on the line after posing topless in her patrol car with a semi-automatic rifle on her lap.

Nildo Garcia's risqué selfie ended up on Facebook, and once she was identified she was put on gardening leave, Daily Mail reports.

Police bosses were notified of the photos and were able to identify her by the badge on her uniform.

In the shot, Garcia was reclining in the back seat of her police vehicle with her breasts uncovered and her rifle laying across her knees.

She has broken her silence on her Facebook page and has apologised for taking the photos while she was meant to be working.

"I feel disgusted by the great damage caused and the damage done mainly to my two daughters, followed by my husband, my parents, brothers and entire family," she wrote

This is the latest case to scandalise Mexican law enforcement agencies.

Police officer Hector Mauro Ramos, 32, was at peril of losing his job after he photographed himself in uniform pointing a hand gun to his heart, last month – in an attempt to scare his ex-wife to give him another chance.

A further three police officers in central Mexico stirred the pot when they used a police car in a pornographic shoot.

Last November, an on duty police officer in central Mexico was suspended after photos of him performing a sex act appeared online.
