Man shoos guilty bear caught searching for food in his kitchen

A man has shooed away a bear caught searching for food in his kitchen, filming the ordeal to share on social media.

Wildlife volunteer Joel Rosenthal, from Point of View Farm wildlife sanctuary in West Virginia, caught the bear, named Rose, at the scene of the crime and escorted her outside.

Mr Rosenthal followed the bear around the house, making sure she left the kitchen.

Once outside she looked up at him with guilty eyes and Mr Rosenthal promised her she would get dinner later.

The video was originally shared on Facebook by Mr Rosenthal and he has since shared a photo of the bear’s footprints on the front steps of his home, reporting Rose had returned searching for a snack.
