Man uses hose to repel trespasser

A US man has defended his property rights in a peaceful but effective manner by hosing down a drunk trespasser who refused to leave his backyard.

YouTube user Ronak Kallianpur from Ohio posted a video showing him confronting a shirtless man who'd wandered into his backyard over the weekend.

"I'll spray you right now if you don't turn around," he says.

"I'm not hurting you, it's just water," he says, before giving the man a preliminary squirt.

When the bare-bellied moustachioed intruder doesn't retreat, he turns the hose on him properly.

"Does that feel good?" he asks, drenching the man's abdomen and face.

The trespasser appears impassive and stoic throughout the hosing, before stumbling around the corner and thumping into Kallianpur's shed.

He eventually obeys directions and leaves the property, muttering obscenities at Kallianpur as he leaves.

It's a beautiful illustration of passive-aggressive non-violence.
