Man leads police on chase with tractor

A young man in the US has led police on an annoyingly slow-speed chase after he rammed police cars with his tractor, tried to hit an officer and then fled on the farm vehicle.

It is unclear what motivated 20-year-old Dustin Clouse to attack Indiana police officers and their squad cars yesterday and his choice of getaway vehicle raised even more questions.

Bemused bystanders filmed the pursuit that lasted two hours and saw the tractor reach speeds of up to 24km/h.

The chase eventually ended when Clouse pulled over and was tased by his arresting officers.

While the American's choice of getaway vehicle may seem bizarre it is not the most unusual one to become involved in a police pursuit.
