Man builds incredible jungle hut using no modern tools

Step aside Bear Grylls. This is the fascinating video documenting one man's survival skills that show how humans lived in the Paleolithic Era.

The video, uploaded to YouTube in May, shows a man in a jungle building a hut using only primitive stone tools, just as our ancestors did from the beginning of human existence until around 12,000 years ago.

Make no mistake, this is no ordinary hut - and this is certainly no ordinary man.

The unidentified builder, whose YouTube channel is called Primitive Technology, fashions himself a stone axe and then sets about building a hut using only natural materials around him.

Fire sticks are rubbed together to make fire, which he then uses to fire his own pottery and render the walls of his hut. He creates a beautiful thatched roof using vines and leaves, which he then covers with sheets of paper bark.

Next up it's time for some interior design, kitting out his ancient crib with a bed, fireplace and chimney.

It's a mesmerising video, and an incredible feat of bushmanship.
