Man allegedly beheads colleague after being fired

A man in the US has allegedly beheaded a colleague after he was fired from his job.

Alton Nolen, 30, was an employee at a food processing plant in Oklahoma before he was fired and went on a rampage.

It’s alleged he beheaded a 54 year-old female colleague, before turning the blade on another co-worker.

The horror finally ended when a company official shot him.

Three shots were reportedly heard but Nolen survived the shooting and has now been arrested.

Police say he had recently been trying to convert his co-workers to Islam and are investigating whether he was influenced by recent ISIL videos depicting beheadings.

Due to the manner of death and initial statements of co-workers, police have requested the assistance of the FBI.
