Children among nine injured in London acid attack
Two children are among nine injured after an acid attack in south London.
Police rushed to a street in Lambeth before 7.30pm on Wednesday (local time) after a woman and her two young children were allegedly doused with what is believed to be acid.
Three people nearby tried to help the victims but were also injured in the process.

All six were all taken to hospital for treatment to their respective injuries.
Three responding police officers were also hospitalised with injuries believed to be minor.
Detective Superintendent Alexander Castle labelled the incident "horrific".
Police and helicopters are now searching the city for a man seen fleeing the scene but no arrests have so far been made.

"We are drawing on resources from across the Met to apprehend this individual and work is ongoing to determine what has led to this awful incident," Castle said.
Investigations are ongoing as officers await test results to rule on their suspicions the alleged substance used was corrosive.
