Lebanese reporter hurls rock at Israel

A Lebanese TV reporter has made no attempts to hide her personal opinions, hurling a rock into Israel during a live cross from her country’s troubled southern border.

Nancy Saba was reporting on Israeli airstrikes for TV network Al-Jadeed on January 19 when she made the dramatic statement.

“The Israeli enemy had the audacity to fire tear gas at our Lebanese army,” she says, according to a translation by the Middle East Media Research Institute.

“From here, I retaliate against the Israeli enemy.”

Saba then picks up a stone “from all of Lebanon” and throws it over the border, before signing off with a flourish, “This is Nancy Saba for Al-Jadeed TV”.
