LA stolen truck erupts in flames as pursuit comes to fiery end
A stolen truck pursuit has come to a fiery end in Los Angeles.
The U-Haul truck towing a trailer was pursued on Southern California freeways early on Tuesday morning until it burst into flames, with the driver unsuccessfully running away.
Law enforcement officers followed the truck-trailer combo for about two hours as peak hour traffic stacked up.

Aerial views showed the vehicle eventually slowing as a fire developed in the wheel well of a flattened front tyre.
The slow-moving truck was finally pulled off the freeway just before 7am in Bellflower, in the city's south-east, and the driver jumped out as it burst into flames.
The 47-year-old man was arrested and firefighters extinguished the truck fire.
