L'Wren Scott's Twitter and Facebook update after death

In an eerie coincidence, a photo of dresses hanging from a tree has been uploaded to L'Wren Scott's Facebook page just hours after her suicide.

Both Scott's Facebook and Twitter feed continued to update even after the designer's death was confirmed.

The pre-written post had been scheduled to be automatically published on her account.

However, given revelations that Scott, 49, hanged herself with a scarf, the photo proved deeply upsetting to fans.

The image has since been deleted from all Scott's social media accounts as the team who handle the designer's public relations are labelled as "disrespectful" for not preventing the posts from going live.

"PR company should really keep up with their client's Google alerts," wrote one user on Scott's Facebook page.

Scott, a prominent fashion designer, had been dating Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger at the time of her death.

Jagger, 70, whose Australian tour with the Stones is due to begin tomorrow, said through a spokesman that he is "completely shocked and devastated" by the news.
