Kitten in ‘newborn’ photo shoot goes missing in the US

A kitten who became the star of a viral photoshoot in the US has gone missing.
Elsa the kitten was adopted by Missouri woman Cassie Borcherding, a photographer, and her husband.
They celebrated the adoption with a photoshoot.
“I couldn’t resist,” Ms Borcherding told The Telegraph.
“We dug out some newborn wraps and tie-backs and got to work.”
For one of the photos, they even dressed the kitten up as Elsa from the Disney film Frozen.
Ms Borcherding shared the photos to her professional Facebook page on Tuesday, where they have already been shared more than 11,000 times.
However, Elsa has since gone missing, leaving the family heartbroken.
“This is quite a bittersweet moment for myself, I wish she was here to share all the excitement with (and of course do more photoshoots),” Ms Borcherding wrote.
“If you are local to me, please keep your eye out for our sweet, Elsa.”
The family were still out looking for her early this morning.
Elsa was originally found by the family in their garage, but at first they didn’t know if they would be able to keep the stray.
However, after their four children fell in love with the kitten they made the decision to adopt her.
