Convicted triple murderer Caius Veiovis.

A US man with "devil's horns" implanted in his forehead lashed out at the jury after being convicted of a brutal triple murder - but the killer's lawyer says the outburst was "understandable".

Massachusetts man Caius Veiovis, 34, was found guilty of three counts of murder, intimidation of a witness, and kidnapping.

After the jury delivered the verdict, Veiovis told the jurors "I will see you all in hell", The Mirror reports.

Veiovis' case recently gained attention outside the US when his lawyer, James Reardon told media he believed his client was being victimised for his unusual appearance.

The killer has rows of forehead implants resembling horns, piercings and a number of facial tattoos.

Mr Reardon said he still worried his client had been prejudged on his appearance, and they would be filing an appeal.

He excused Veiovis' angry outburst was "some understandable emotional reaction" given he had been kept in solitary confinement for more than three years.

Veiovis was accused of the August 2011 killings of three men who were set to testify against an associate of his facing kidnapping and drugs charges.

He has not yet been sentenced, but is facing life in prison.
