A British couple have recounted the moment a passing fighter jet flew so close that they could see the pilots' faces.
Craig and Paula Sulman were taking in the sights near Mount Snowdon in Wales recently when a thundering whir turned their attention to the skies.
Flying just 90m above them, a RAF Tornado twisted and turned through the clouds with carefully executed precision, providing the couple with a direct view into the cabin.
Mr Sulman, 47, of Doncaster, South Yorkshire, captured the impromptu air show in a series of stunning pictures published by the Metro.
"I was amazed," he said.
"The pilots were so close we could see their faces."
