Jarryd Hayne’s theatrical commentary captured on microphone during 49ers NFL loss

Jarryd Hayne didn’t let his quiet day against the Packers yesterday diminish his enthusiasm, with his reactions during the game captured on a microphone worn by the former NRL star.

Hayne was involved in only three plays in the 17-3 loss against Green Bay – one of which saw him collected by his own teammate in a bungled catch.

But that didn’t stop the boy from Minto firing up his teammates, with his exclamations today released by the 49ers media team.

“Big dog come to eat,” Hayne told offensive linebacker Ahmad Brooks as the pair left the field.

“Big dog come to eat, baby.”

Hayne’s message was greeted by a bemused “huh?” from Brooks, but at least goes to show the former NRL star is fitting into the theatrical world of the NFL.
