A Boeing 737 with more than 170 passengers on board has reportedly been forced to turn around and make an emergency landing at a Tel Aviv airport after a suspected wheel issue.

Unconfirmed reports said the crew declared an emergency situation after they were warned pieces of the wheel had been found on the runway after take-off.

The plane reportedly landed safely with fire trucks in attendance.

Up is a subsidiary of El Al Israel Airlines.
