ISIL 'police' kill mother over public breastfeeding
All-female ‘police unit’, the Al-Khansaa Brigade, murdered the innocent mother in broad daylight.
A young mother has been mutilated and murdered by the Islamic State’s women-only ‘morality’ police after attempting to breastfeed her screaming child under a tree in the ISIL stronghold of Raqqa, Syria.
The mother had sought shade under a tree and tucked her son under her black burqa to shield him from public view, when she was spotted by members of the Al-Khansaa Brigade.
“An ISIS policewoman took the baby, gave it to another woman, and then killed the mother,” Aisha, a former Raqqa resident now living in southern Turkey told the Sunday Times.
Pro-Islamic State social media sites said the mother had been mutilated before she was killed, claiming that she had violated public decency.
The Al-Khansaa Brigade was created about 18 months ago and is responsible for maintaining ‘public purity’ in ISIL controlled areas.
The group includes North Africa women, Gulf Arabs, Iraqis, Chechens and Western Europeans.
Up to 60 British women are thought to have joined the police unit, including 20-year-old Glaswegian Aqsa Mahmood, who is believed to be a key member.
