Is this the most gentle arrest ever?

A Thai police officer has conducted one of the most gentle arrests ever made, quietly slipping handcuffs onto a man as he slept.

Footage shows the officer sneaking into a room where the man is asleep on a mattress on the ground and carefully slipping a handcuff on one arm.

As the man starts to wake up the officer gently slips the cuff on the other arm and speaks softly to him before pulling away the man’s blanket and giving him a light slap on the leg.

The footage was shared on Facebook under the name “New Touch of Sleep”.

Thai media is reporting the arrest was in relation to an alleged robbery and firearms offences.
