Grandfather makes baby do the ice bucket challenge

A video has emerged of a 10-month-old baby in the US who was forced to take part in the ALS Ice Bucket challenge by her grandfather.

The father of the infant, Claude Dalcour from Houston, was shocked and appalled when he found the video online and said it almost brought him to tears.

“It’s abuse because my daughter is an infant. She doesn’t know what’s going on,” he said.

Mr Dalcour’s father-in-law, Reggie Stiller, took part in the viral trend with baby Aria next to him and posted it on Facebook, but it was quickly removed.

Local police confirmed they are conducting a welfare check on the infant in the video to check if she is in any danger or if she was harmed.
