A gorilla has put on a show at a theme park in Florida, mimicking its trainer’s moves from its enclosure.

The gorilla, named Bolingo, can be seen copying the movements of Animal Care Specialist Rachel Hale at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay in a viral video that has had over 200,000 views in just three days.

He starts off small, placing his hands on the glass where Rachel’s feet are, before jumping into a handstand and finishing with an embrace.

While it looks like a game, Busch Gardens says this monkey business is actually a form of training that allows staff to “build trusting and positive relationships with the animals.”

Busch Gardens says these “enrichment moves” help keep the animals mentally and physically stimulated.

Bolingo was born at the African-themed animal park in 2005 and is one of seven gorillas on display at the park’s Myombe Reserve.
