'Giant spider' dog leaves trail of terror

A gargantuan, hairy-legged spider has been filmed charging at unsuspecting people and scaring the living daylights out them.

But look at bit closer and you will see that the monster spider is actually not a spider at all, but a small dog trussed up like an impossibly huge arachnid.

The video is the work of Polish prankster SA Wardega and has already amassed close to 900,000 views since it was uploaded to YouTube yesterday.

The prank’s first victim is a man who attempts to enter a building after dark, only to be met face-to-face with the horrendous creature.

The man drops his shopping bags and bolts.

Two girls waiting for an elevator ride fare no better, when the door suddenly opens to a nightmare scene that is met with high-pitched screams.
