A 'frat boy' in the US has been blasted on social media for filming himself using the teeth of a washed up shark to shotgun a can of beer.

In the video, uploaded to Instagram account 'Totalfratmove', a shirtless young man bends over the lifeless body of a small shark on an undisclosed beach while his friend wrenches open the creature's jaws.

The shirtless man then swings the beer can into the shark's teeth before chugging down the amber liquid through a punctured hole.
