Fool sinks his motorbike in a pool

An American stunt bike rider has become the laughing stock of the Internet after being filmed sending his motorbike into a pool while attempting a wheelie.

Darius Khashabi, from Walnut Creek, California, decided to give partygoers who had gathered poolside for his birthday a demonstration of his motorbike prowess.

But it turned out to be a costly decision when he lost control of the powerful bike, launching it into the pool’s deep end.

But it didn't end there, with the birthday boy then sacrificing a minibike to the birthday gods, all to the cheers of those looking on.

With countless mobile phones at the ready, Khashabi wasn't short of footage of the incident – later posting it to YouTube.

"I've done wheelies in the back yard for 11 years, this is the first time I crashed," he wrote in a comment accompanying the clip.
