Fleeing football fans unite to sing French national anthem following bombing attack

Over 60,000 football fans have performed the French national anthem in a rousing show of solidarity, as they were escorted away from a stadium following a nearby attack by two suicide bombers.

A video posted to the Facebook account of Karl Olive shows a crowd of football fans proceeding calmly down a stadium passageway, singing and waving the French flag patriotically.

Within four hours the video has already been viewed more than 150,000 times and received more than 5000 likes and almost 3000 shares.

The video represents a brief but touching glimmer of hope, as Paris enters its darkest hour, with at least 160 now confirmed killed in an array of attacks on the French capital.
