Fitness blogger Rebecca Burger killed by exploding whipped cream dispenser

A popular French blogger and Instagram celebrity has been killed by an exploding whipped cream dispenser.

Rebecca Burger’s family posted to social media that the 32-year-old had died after a “domestic incident” yesterday.

“The siphon exploded and struck Rebecca’s chest, resulting in her death,” Ms Burger’s family captioned in French below a photo of a whipped cream can.

“Do not use this kind of utensil in your home!,” they added.

French media reported Ms Burger had died of cardiac arrest after being treated for her injuries.

The blogger had 157,000 followers on Instagram, regularly sharing images of herself in exotic locations.

“Lots of upcoming trips and new projects,” she captioned one of her last posts.
