Firefighters rescue naked woman stuck up ex's chimney

A woman in California had to be rescued by firefighters after she got stuck naked up the chimney of her ex-boyfriend’s house.

Homeowner Tony Hernandez told CBS News the 35-year-old woman, who is the mother of his three children, had at first tried to enter his house through the front door at 5am Saturday local time.

When she discovered the door was locked she then attempted to get in though the 30cm-by-30cm chimney.

The woman had taken off her clothes to aid her descent.

Mr Hernandez, who did not want to show his face on camera and agreed to be filmed only from the legs down, said he was woken up by her cries for help and tried to pull her free with an extension cord.

“She said, ‘I’m trapped in the chimney.’ So I tried to get her out but it was too hard,” he said.

Firefighters arrived at the scene and managed to free her two hours later by breaking apart the fireplace.

Fire officials later posted pictures of the rescue on Twitter.

Mr Hernandez said the woman did not live with him anymore and was not allowed to see their children.

“I don’t like the way she’s acting or what she’s doing. That’s not good for my kids,” he said.
