Falling ice squashes parked car in Russia

A Russian man has had his day ruined after blocks of snow fell from a roof onto his parked car, burying it completely and leaving it severely damaged.

The unfortunate driver had parked his station wagon outside a Vladivostok shopping centre on Friday before going to work, only for the melting blocks to start hailing down from above.

Children can be heard laughing nearby, but it's safe to safe he would not have seen the funny side, as a team of people wielding shovels were forced to dig the car out.

Both the roof and the windshield were seriously damaged, according to local media.

No one was injured in the incident.
